Our Story

What began as a small group of concerned citizens in the early 1970s has transformed into a dedicated charitable community focused on providing shelter and comprehensive services to the most vulnerable populations in New York’s lower Hudson Valley. For over 50 years, HONOR has been at the forefront of the fight against homelessness, paving the way towards housing stability for those in need.

Impact

Each year, HONOR provides hope to over 175 runaway and homeless youth, manages nearly 7,000 calls through their Help Line, and offers temporary shelter to over 1,000 individuals and families. Additionally, more than 100,000 meals and food packages are distributed annually, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
