The Homewood Athletic Foundation operates independently of the Homewood City Schools system, dedicated to enhancing the athletic experience for student athletes. By providing essential resources, the foundation ensures that athletes can compete at the highest level.

Since its inception, the foundation has played a pivotal role in Homewood's athletic success, contributing to 34 state championships and 14 state runner-ups since 2014. Funding for specialized equipment and competitive trips has transformed the athletic landscape.
