Our Story
The Hometown Resource Center, originally established as the Southeast Minnesota Rural Education and Resource Center, has been a beacon of hope since December 16th, 1986, in St. Charles, Minnesota. As the last remaining center of its kind in the state, it has evolved from a support system for struggling farmers to a comprehensive resource for the entire community. Dedicated staff, volunteers, and supporters work tirelessly to uplift residents in need, ensuring that everyone has access to vital resources.
