Founded in 1994 by Nancy Rase and Trudy McFall, Homes for America emerged from a vision to create a nonprofit housing organization that is both mission-driven and professional. With extensive experience in housing finance and a commitment to excellence, the organization has grown from a small team to one of the largest housing organizations in the mid-Atlantic region. Over the past 30 years, Homes for America has focused on enhancing the lives of residents through quality affordable housing.
