Founded in 1972, Homeowners Rehab Inc (HRI) is dedicated to developing and preserving affordable, high-quality rental housing. With a focus on community engagement, HRI addresses housing stability, economic resiliency, health, and youth development, creating pathways to opportunity for residents in Cambridge and surrounding areas.
Our Impact
HRI creates climate-resilient buildings and supportive programs, enabling low- and moderate-income residents to thrive. With a portfolio of 113 unique properties and a $3.9 million investment in solar technology, HRI generates 855 kW of solar energy annually, equivalent to the energy used by 133 homes.
