Our Story
Founded in 1993 by dedicated community advocates, the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida has been at the forefront of combating homelessness in the region. Initially led by Helaine Blum, the organization has evolved under the guidance of leaders like Marilyn Gordon and Cathy Jackson, expanding its services across the tri-county area. In 2015, Martha Are took the helm, bringing invaluable experience from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. With a focus on evidence-based Housing First strategies, HSN is committed to providing sustainable solutions for those in need.
