Our Story
Founded in the late 1980s, the Texas Homeless Network (THN) emerged from a collective effort to address the growing issue of homelessness in Texas. With a mission to create a statewide organization, THN was incorporated in 1991, receiving support from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and the Texas Health and Human Services. Today, THN coordinates local and national advocacy efforts, data collection, and research, serving as the host agency for the Texas Balance of State Continuum of Care.
