Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC) has been a beacon of hope for unhoused and housing-insecure families since 1989. Originating from a compassionate vision by Placentia Presbyterian Church, HIS-OC began with a single farmhouse that became a transitional shelter known as HIS House. Over the years, this organization has expanded its reach, providing comprehensive wraparound services that include on-site case management, job skills training, and connections to vital health services.

Making a Lasting Impact

In the past year alone, HIS-OC has assisted over 1,000 individuals, successfully guiding 85% of those in resident programs to permanent housing. Since its inception, the organization has helped over 5,000 people transition out of homelessness, restoring dignity and independence to countless families.
