Tony’s Place opened in 2016 in loving memory of Robert Anthony “Tony” Carroll, a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ causes. This organization serves homeless and unstably housed LGBTQ+ youth and allies, providing a safe space and essential services.
Thanks to generous support, Tony’s Place is Houston’s only LGBTQ+ youth-serving drop-in center open during the weekday, offering basic needs such as hot meals, showers, clothing, and laundry services to 40 LGBTQ+ youth each week.
