Our Story
Home Is Here NOLA is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to connecting newly arriving immigrants and asylum-seekers with essential community-based support systems. Located in the Gulf South, this organization focuses on building networks of survival and solidarity for those ineligible for government services.
Impact
With a commitment to respond to 100% of community sponsorship requests from Louisiana detention centers, Home Is Here NOLA has successfully funded the release of nearly 100 individuals without family or friends. Hundreds more have found support through community housing and legal aid.
