Our Story
Holy Spirit Sanctifier Catholic Radio, known as KHSS, was established in 1997 when Rod and Kimberly Fazzari purchased a struggling classical music station in Walla Walla, Washington. Their vision was clear: to bring Catholic radio to the rural communities of southeastern Washington. With the support of Immaculate Heart Radio, KHSS transitioned to full-time Catholic programming in 2001, marking a significant milestone in its mission to evangelize and serve the community.
Initially broadcasting just four hours of Catholic content each Sunday, KHSS has grown to provide 24/7 Catholic programming, including live Mass, the rosary, and various educational shows from EWTN. This expansion has allowed the station to reach a broader audience, providing both English and Spanish Catholic programming to multiple communities across the Northwest.
