Holt Community Food Bank

Our Story

Holt Community Food Bank began over 20 years ago with the compassion of two individuals from Holt First Presbyterian Church. They recognized that some community members were struggling to make ends meet and started carrying bags of non-perishable food in their cars to help those in need. This small act of kindness blossomed into a dedicated food bank, entirely staffed by volunteers who are committed to supporting their neighbors. Today, HCFB serves an average of 150+ families each month, ensuring they receive enough food for approximately a week’s worth of meals.
