Hollywood Youth Rowing Club

Our Story

Hollywood Youth Rowing Club is a family-run organization founded by sisters Kathy and Megan, who share a passion for rowing and youth development. Growing up in South Jersey, they were immersed in the sport from a young age, competing at various levels including high school and college. In 2015, they began coaching a group of girls from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, igniting a love for rowing in the community. What started as a few Saturday practices quickly evolved into a competitive team, now boasting 50 dedicated athletes who train six times a week.

Our Impact

Through the sport of rowing, Hollywood Youth Rowing Club instills essential values such as teamwork, accountability, and resilience in young athletes. The club has achieved remarkable success, winning four State Championships, a Regional Championship, and earning 2nd place at Nationals in 2023.
