Our Story

The Holly Club of Joliet was founded in 1889 by a group of dedicated teenage girls who recognized the needs of the less fortunate in their community. Originally known as the Young Maidens’ Christmas Association, the organization has evolved to address a wide range of local charitable needs, including education scholarships, winter clothing for children, and support for trauma victims.

Impact

For over 132 years, the Holly Club has been instrumental in providing essential support to the less fortunate in Will County. Initiatives include distributing warm clothing to underprivileged children, providing holiday gift cards to families in need, and offering scholarships to deserving students.
