Our Story

Holler Gallery, located in the heart of central Appalachia, is a nonprofit fine art gallery dedicated to showcasing the talents of emerging artists from Pennsylvania to Georgia. Established in 2017 by artist Chase Bowman, the gallery has transformed a historic space, previously the Virginia Bank of Commerce, into a vibrant venue for fine Appalachian art. Under the direction of Richard Shrewsbury since 2020, the gallery has expanded its educational and community involvement efforts while maintaining its established aesthetic.

Impact

By hosting an annual open call show and various special events, Holler Gallery provides emerging artists with a professional platform to display their work, enriching the local art community and promoting authentic Appalachian narratives.
