About Holland Community Chorale

The Holland Community Chorale has been a cornerstone of the West Michigan arts scene for over sixty years. Founded in 1960 as the Magnachords Male Chorus, it has evolved into a vibrant civic chorus that draws talented singers from across the region, including Holland, Zeeland, Hamilton, South Haven, Hudsonville, Jenison, Grandville, Grand Rapids, and Grand Haven. The Chorale's rich history includes the merger of the Magnachords and the Bel Canto Singers, creating a unified voice dedicated to the art of choral music.

With a commitment to excellence, the Holland Community Chorale enriches the cultural landscape of West Michigan through outstanding concerts, educational outreach, and collaborations with local symphony orchestras. The Chorale has performed at prestigious venues, including a debut at Carnegie Hall and a European performance tour, showcasing the talent and dedication of its members.
