Our Story
Founded in 2007 by Ethiopian refugee Megersa Kumbi and his wife Abby Dalu in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Holistic Ministry of Children of the Horn Africa is a non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to uplifting extremely poor families in Oromia, Ethiopia. By focusing on education and mentoring, HMCHA prepares sponsored children to become future leaders.
Our Impact
With a commitment to community development, 100% of sponsored children finish first grade, and over 2,700 people now have access to clean spring water across four villages.
