Our Story
The Hoboken Community Center (HCC) has been a cornerstone of support for the Hoboken community since its establishment in 1927. Originally opened as the Hoboken-North Hudson YMCA, the center has evolved to meet the needs of the community, providing affordable housing for low-income men and a vital pantry for those facing food insecurity. After extensive renovations in 2013, the HCC now offers 96 single room occupancy units, ensuring that vulnerable individuals have a safe place to call home. The center is also focused on revitalizing its former recreational spaces, totaling over 37,500 square feet, to better serve the community.
