Our Story

Founded in December 2013 by Teresa and Tom Walsh, HNC Living Foundation emerged from a personal battle with head and neck cancer. After Teresa's diagnosis with squamous cell carcinoma, the couple faced significant financial and emotional challenges. This experience highlighted the urgent need for financial assistance for head and neck cancer patients in the Kansas City area and beyond.

Since its inception, HNC Living Foundation has awarded over $2 million in grants, directly benefiting head and neck cancer patients. Funding has supported essential services such as dental care, nutritional supplements, and specialized therapies.
