Our Story

The Hmong American Peace Academy (HAPA) was founded in 2004 by Dr. Chris Her-Xiong to address the educational needs of the Hmong community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With a mission to preserve Hmong culture and language, HAPA has grown from 200 students to over 1,800 scholars, focusing on character development and cultural values.
