Our Story

In 2011, a dedicated group of Hmong American farming families established the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) to empower local farmers. Recognizing that those most affected by an unjust food system are best positioned to lead change, HAFA was formed to advance the prosperity of Hmong American farmers through cooperative endeavors, capacity building, and advocacy.

Impact

HAFA’s VeggieRx program connects families facing food insecurity with fresh produce grown by local farmers, supported by healthcare professionals, culminating in community dinners at the HAFA Farm.
