Our Story

Hitting Cancer Below the Belt (HCB2) was founded in memory of Rich Conklin, who lost his battle with colorectal cancer at just 43 years old. His wife, Melinda Conklin, established HCB2 in 2012 to provide essential services, education, and events aimed at increasing screening rates and promoting colon health awareness.

Impact

Since its inception, HCB2 has funded colorectal cancer screenings for over 7,800 patients and delivered Healing Baskets to more than 285 individuals, significantly impacting lives and communities.
