The Historical Society of Mount Lebanon began as a simple idea in 1998, transforming into a vital community resource dedicated to preserving the local heritage. From humble beginnings with occasional lectures and a few artifacts, the Society now boasts rotating exhibits, educational programs, and community events that engage residents and visitors alike. Established in 2009, the History Center at 794 Washington Road serves as a hub for historical exploration, located in the former home of Dr. Donald L. McMillan, a beloved local physician.
