Our Story

For over four decades, the Historic District Development Corporation has been a catalyst for equitable urban revitalization in Atlanta, focusing on preserving the identity and history of communities, particularly in the Sweet Auburn Historic District.

Impact

Since 1980, HDDC has transformed the historic Martin Luther King, Jr. district by building and restoring over 100 homes, launching 60 businesses, and creating over 350 jobs.
