Our Story
The Latinx Technology and Community Center was established in 2001 through a partnership between Mott Community College and the G.I Forum. In 2019, the organization evolved its name from Hispanic to Latinx to better reflect the diversity of the community it serves, as defined by its youth leadership program participants.
Impact
This center has re-invigorated its programs and services to respond to the emerging needs of the community, particularly in light of public health crises such as the Flint Water Crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.
