About HOLA

Founded in 1975 by a dedicated group of Hispanic actors in New York, the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) was created to combat the inequities in the casting system that marginalized Hispanic talent. Over the years, HOLA has become a leading advocacy organization, focusing on the development, education, and empowerment of Latin artists in the entertainment industry.

Impact of HOLA

HOLA has played a crucial role in increasing the visibility and employment opportunities for Hispanic artists, raising representation in theatrical films and NYC theater from less than 1% to 5.3% and 4.8%, respectively.
