Founded in 1997 by Sister Elaine Willett, El Centro Hispano began as an outreach initiative from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Jonesboro. Responding to the growing Latino population in Northeast Arkansas, it became a nonprofit organization in 2004, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Hispanic families.
El Centro Hispano provides vital services across six areas: social, legal, educational, health, cultural, and civic engagement, equipping the Latino community with essential life skills for success.
