Our Story
El Concilio is a dedicated non-profit organization that has been serving the Latino community in greater Kalamazoo since the early 1970s. Originally formed by a group of Hispanics affiliated with St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, it has evolved into a vital resource for Latinx residents, helping them support their families and appreciate their cultural significance.
Impact
In 2016 alone, El Concilio served over 2,000 families and children, providing essential services that promote economic sustainability and self-sufficiency.
