Our Story

In 2012, a group of dedicated Hindus in Little Rock came together during Navarathri to discuss the pressing need for a Hindu Temple in the area. By 2013, this conversation evolved into a committed effort, leading to the formation of a committee in 2014. The Hindu community in Central Arkansas has flourished over the past 25 years, and the desire for a temple built on Vedic principles has grown stronger. In 2015, the Hindu Temple of Central Arkansas became a federally recognized non-profit organization, paving the way for a spiritual haven.

Impact

Thanks to the unwavering support from the local Hindu community, the dream of constructing a temple dedicated to Sri Balaji, Shiva, and other deities is now a reality. The acquisition of 22 acres of land marks a significant milestone, with construction set to begin soon.
