Founded in 2007, the Hillsdale Range and Training Facility was established to create a safe shooting range at Hillsdale State Park. After receiving a grant in 2008, plans were drawn, and construction began in 2011. The range officially opened in March 2013 and is now a self-sufficient facility run by dedicated volunteers.
