Our Story

Hilda’s Foundation, originally known as Hilda’s Place, was founded in 2018 to honor the legacy of Hilda, a dedicated community activist. Hilda opened her home to those in need, offering food, clothing, and shelter, while helping them find employment. Inspired by her selfless work, Theresa Thomas established Hilda’s Place, which has since evolved into Hilda’s Foundation. This nonprofit organization is committed to providing nationally accredited, comprehensive addiction and behavioral health treatment for individuals of all ages.
