Our Story

Founded in 1975 by educator Greg Gannon, Higher Achievement is dedicated to creating equitable learning opportunities for underserved youth. By partnering with middle school scholars in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Richmond, the organization provides essential academic and social-emotional support during critical developmental years.

With 95% of scholars graduating high school on time and 86% reporting a sense of belonging, Higher Achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of its programs in fostering both academic success and personal growth.
