The Soaring Eagle Center began as a heartfelt dream of a mother seeking to create programs for her daughter with intellectual disabilities. Established in 2003 by a group of dedicated parents inspired by their experiences with Special Olympics, the SEC has grown into a vital nonprofit organization in Texas, providing athletic opportunities and social events for over fifty adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Since its inception, the SEC has fostered a supportive community for adults with disabilities and their families, enhancing their lives through meaningful engagement and activities.
