About High Ridge Chargers

Founded in 1959, the High Ridge Chargers Youth Football and Cheer organization has been a cornerstone of the Rogers Park community in Chicago. This non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has positively impacted the lives of over 10,000 children from diverse backgrounds, providing them with opportunities to engage in youth football and cheerleading. The Chargers focus on teamwork, discipline, and responsibility, ensuring that every child, aged 5-14, can thrive in a structured and supportive environment.

Impact of the Chargers

For over 60 years, the High Ridge Chargers have successfully kept nearly 250 kids off the streets and on the field each year. With a commitment to player development and safety, the organization has produced numerous alumni who have gone on to play at the collegiate level and even in the NFL. The focus remains on nurturing the growth of each child both on and off the field.
