The High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) was established through the vision of developer Tom Hoyt and the partnership of master developers Chad and Troy McWhinney. Located in Loveland, Colorado, HPEC manages 275 acres of lakes and wetlands, focusing on conservation and sustainable living.
Impact of HPEC
Since its incorporation in March 2001, HPEC has successfully restored nature in the Loveland area, engaging the community in environmental stewardship. In 2019 alone, volunteers contributed over 1,000 hours of service, equating to nearly $26,000 in value.
