Our Story

Hiawatha Homes Foundation was established over forty-five years ago by a dedicated group of parents and community members who envisioned a nurturing environment for individuals with disabilities. This vision has transformed into a reality, providing quality, loving, and individualized care for approximately 80 individuals in Olmsted County. Today, Hiawatha Homes operates nineteen residential-based homes, offering respite care, family support services, and in-home support.
