The Hester J Hodgdon Libraries for All Foundation, established in 2003, is dedicated to enhancing literacy and educational access in Nicaragua. By supporting the San Juan del Sur Biblioteca Pública y Móvil, the first lending library in the country, the Foundation has expanded its mission to promote sustainable lending libraries throughout Central America.

With a vibrant lending library, a bookmobile service reaching 37 communities, and multiple satellite libraries, the Foundation significantly enhances educational resources in rural Nicaragua.
