Our Story
Founded in 1968, Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach Inc. is an all-volunteer organization committed to eradicating hunger and promoting dignity in the Derry Township community. Inspired by a social ministry idea, this nonprofit has been serving families and individuals in financial distress for over 55 years.

By the end of 2023, the food bank has served 381 registered families, totaling 1,118 individuals. The need for assistance has increased by 23% compared to the previous year, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by the community.
