Our Story

Founded in 1903 by Anna Quale Fergstad and a group of Norwegian women, Lyngblomsten began as a literary club and evolved into a dedicated organization providing shelter and care for older adults. Since its incorporation in 1906 and the opening of its first home in 1912, Lyngblomsten has adapted to meet the changing needs of the community, becoming a leader in person-centered care.
