Our Story

Herd & Flock Animal Sanctuary was founded by Katie Dwight and Meghan Dibble to provide a safe haven for animals rescued from the meat, egg, and dairy industries. Inspired by visits to other sanctuaries, they established this sanctuary in Vacaville, California, where they adopted their first animals shortly after acquiring the property.

Impact

Since 2019, the sanctuary has rescued over 862 animals, offering them life-saving temporary or permanent homes. The sanctuary also educates the community about the benefits of plant-based eating and the horrors of factory farming.
