Our Story

Founded in 1967 by concerned parents, Helpline Youth Counseling Inc. (HYC) was established to combat rising juvenile delinquency, substance abuse, and violence. Since its incorporation in 1971, HYC has dedicated itself to providing essential counseling and support services to at-risk, low-income children, youth, and their families in Southeast Los Angeles.

In the past year, HYC has positively impacted the lives of 5,163 individuals, focusing on the challenges posed by COVID-19 on mental and physical health.
