Our Story
Founded in 1968 as a response to the 'War on Poverty', Helpline House began as a humble food bank. Over the decades, it has transformed into a vital resource for the Bainbridge Island community, offering a comprehensive range of social services including case management, mental health counseling, and support for children and seniors. Each year, Helpline House serves over 2,800 individuals, fostering a spirit of neighbor helping neighbor.
