Our Story

Helping Herders Rescue was born from a shared passion for herding breeds and a commitment to responsible rescue. Three dedicated individuals came together, driven by a love for these remarkable dogs, to create a safe haven for abandoned herding dogs. Since becoming a formal 501(c)3 in early 2016, the organization has grown into a network of compassionate foster homes, each playing a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of these dogs.
