Our Story

Founded in 1996 by Lucille Arnold-Harris, Helping Hands of Yuma was established to support seniors in the community, enabling them to live independently. With 501(c)(3) status achieved in 1998, the organization has grown to meet the increasing needs of the underserved senior population. Each year, over 650 seniors benefit from the dedication of volunteers who provide essential services.
