Our Story
Founded in 2016 by local resident Robert Weimer, Helping Hands of Georgetown began as a grassroots effort to support the underserved in Georgetown, TX. What started with sandwiches, clothes, and hygiene kits distributed from the trunk of a car has blossomed into a vital community resource. Today, the organization serves over 700 brown bag lunches weekly, provides hot meals every Sunday, and distributes pantry bags filled with essential items.
