Helping Hands High Point

Our Story

In 1994, a compassionate individual began leaving food at a local pastor's doorstep, sparking the creation of a food closet. This initiative blossomed into Helping Hands High Point, which has become the largest food pantry in the High Point area. With a strong partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has dedicated itself to alleviating hunger and enhancing the health of those in need.

Impact

In 2023 alone, Helping Hands High Point provided assistance to over 50,000 individuals and donated food valued at over 1 million dollars, showcasing a profound impact on the community's well-being.
