Our Story

Helping Community Paws and Claws Inc. was founded in 2021 by Lisa New in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to combat the overpopulation of unwanted animals in Logan County. With a deep-rooted passion for animal rescue, Lisa began her journey after encountering numerous street cats, leading her to establish effective spay and neuter programs, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and adoption initiatives. With a background in pet grooming, she has successfully TNR'd over 1500 street cats and nurtured countless orphaned kittens for adoption.
