Help In Crisis is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence and their children. Founded in 1980 by passionate individuals, this organization tirelessly provides essential services and support to those in need. The mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for survivors, offering crisis intervention, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, and community education.
Each year, approximately 250 women and 100 children find refuge in our shelter, receiving vital services that empower survivors and educate the community about domestic violence and sexual assault.
