The Helen B. Murray Oncology Foundation was established in 1981 by Helen Murray, a dedicated civic leader in Tacoma, Washington. Under the stewardship of her family, the Foundation has continued to honor her legacy by providing essential financial support to cancer patients in need.
Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over 1 million dollars, assisting more than 350 patients and families in the Greater Tacoma area. This support has significantly alleviated the financial burden of cancer treatment for those who are impoverished and lack adequate resources.
