Our Story

Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry began operations on June 25, 2009, with a mission to serve families in need throughout the Houston Heights. Starting with a small group of dedicated volunteers, the pantry has expanded its reach to distribute food across the Houston metroplex, relying on the support of over 40 community members each week.

Impact

Every week, close to 200 families benefit from our Thursday and Saturday food distributions, receiving approximately 60 pounds of food valued at $45. This totals around $7,200 worth of food distributed weekly, making a significant impact in the lives of those facing food insecurity.
